Beach Time & Pool Time

We headed down to Fort Myers to spend the rest of the week with my family.  My parents had rented a house in Cape Coral and it had its own pool which was so much fun!

We stopped at my grandparents overnight after leaving Orlando to break up the 3+ hr drive between Orlando and Fort Myers and we couldn’t leave without playing a game of shuffleboard!

The first day we headed to Sanibel Island to the beach and had a fun and relaxing day!

Benta wasn’t too sure about the sand right away, but quickly figured out that she liked picking shells out!

We spent a lot of time in the water, and since the beach is so shallow we swam a long ways out to find deeper water.  While we (Bob, Nick, myself, and my mom) were out one time, 2 pods of dolphins swam right by us!  They couldn’t have been more than 15 feet away and we all were SO excited!  It was one of the coolest things I have experienced!

Nearly every day we would come back from our adventures and spend the rest of the afternoon/evening in the pool.  It was so relaxing and so fun.  My mom and I played volleyball almost every night against Nick and Bob and we had a blast!

There was no lack of loving on this little girl!
